Your privacy

Keith Moore operates this independent golf game. Contact 19kmoo@gmail.com for support, privacy questions or a data request.

What the game stores

Your device stores saved rounds, best scores, preferences and a random game identifier. Online features store submitted scores, gameplay events, shots, challenges, club membership and multiplayer results. A guest cookie recognises your multiplayer player. The database stores a hash of that cookie and a hashed IP address for abuse prevention.

Player and club names are generated automatically. Players can send six preset messages. Older custom names are masked and older typed messages are hidden from player views, but this does not delete their original records.

Who can see it

Relevant scores and generated player names appear on leaderboards. Match participants see the match and its preset messages. Club members see club results. Anyone you give a challenge or invitation link to can use that link.

The game runs on OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare Workers and a D1 database. These services process requests and store game records to provide the game. Support email uses Gmail. Infrastructure logs and backup copies are managed by the service providers; their exact retention periods and international transfer arrangements have not yet been verified for the Amazon release.

Why it is used

Game records and guest identifiers provide the features you request. Gameplay events help improve the game. Abuse limits protect players and the service. We rely on our legitimate interests in providing and protecting the game for these purposes. We do not sell player data or use the game records for advertising.

How long it stays

Local saves remain until you clear them. Scores, profiles, clubs and match history remain in the game database until deleted. Challenge access expires after seven days, but expiry does not erase its stored records. We have not yet implemented an automatic retention schedule for all game records.

The deletion button removes linked records from the active game database immediately when successful. Provider backups and logs are not erased by this button. Contact us if you need help with these copies or data in support email. We do not promise a backup deletion period that has not been verified.

Your choices

Delete my game data removes the current device’s game records and current multiplayer identity. Clearing app storage alone does not remove server records. Other devices have separate identities.

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal information, or object to its use. Contact us using the address above. We aim to respond within one calendar month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Sharing and support

Sharing sends the result or invitation you select to another app. Saving a result image uses your device’s file picker. The game does not request camera, microphone or location access. Sending feedback uses your email app and includes the information you choose to send.

Online play and age

Online social features are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Before using multiplayer, online challenges, clubs or posting a leaderboard score, players must declare they are 18 or over and agree to the online rules. A signed, secure cookie remembers this declaration for up to 90 days. Deleting game data clears it. We do not collect a date of birth or identity document through this form. This is self-declaration, not verified proof of age; stronger age assurance remains outstanding for the Amazon release. This notice does not claim the game has parental controls or that it is approved for Amazon Kids.
