DRIVER TO PUTTER

Your next great shot.

  1. Aim. Tap the course or use the direction control.
  2. Choose a club. We suggest one. Change it for a safer route.
  3. Inside six feet? Gimme. Once the ball stops inside 6 ft, one putt is added and the hole is complete. A ball already holed needs no extra stroke.
  4. Putting. Set the distance, tap Start putt, then tap Strike as the line crosses the centre. You get one slow pass.
  5. Other clubs: start swing. The power marker moves. Press again at your chosen power.
  6. Extra power, if you want it. Stop at 100% for a normal shot, or enter the red zone up to 125%. The timing window halves and a mistimed shot is punished twice as much. Drives can travel up to 350 yards including roll; the lie and wind still matter.
  7. Time impact. On the same bar, press a third time as the line reaches the centre. Early pulls left; late pushes right. If you miss a pass, reset and try again without losing a stroke.

Hybrid putting. Choose “Hybrid · putting stroke” from the club list on the fringe, fairway or light rough. Set the pace and use the same simple putting line. Grass slows the roll, so allow extra pace. It cannot carry a bunker or water.

Spin reward. Match both recommended power and impact within ±15% on Easy (tighter on Hard and Hero) and land an iron or wedge on the green for visible spin towards the cup. The pure inner window produces the strongest action and can finish very close. Aim, wind, lie and slope still decide whether the shot earns it. Above 100% power, every spin window halves.

Choose a right-handed or left-handed golfer before teeing off, or switch stance beside the sound control. Your choice stays on this device and does not change the course or scoring.

Wind arrows show where the ball will drift. The green’s arrows show the downhill roll. Rough reduces carry, bunkers favour the sand wedge, and trees stop low shots.

White stakes and lines mark out of bounds: one penalty stroke, then replay from your previous position. No wall rebounds. Water is marked red or yellow. Both offer a replay or a drop back on the line for one penalty stroke; red also offers lateral relief within two club lengths, no nearer the hole. The game uses a 1.3 yard club length, previews valid drops and places the ball for you. Water balls are unplayable in this simulation. At 12 strokes the hole is picked up and marked 12*.

R&A Rule 17: penalty areas · Rule 18: out of bounds

Aim guides are estimates, not promises. Easy shows a landing area, Hard shows a shorter guide, Hero shows direction only. Every mode uses slower, single passes. Easy has the widest timing window; Hard and Hero ask for more precision. Putting keeps the distance slider and half foot controls. A mistimed stroke can start left or right.
